
ACM-IAU has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) as well as recognized as an institution of higher learning by the French Ministry of Education.
The NECHE accreditation visiting team conducted a comprehensive evaluation visit in the 2025 and submitted an official report to the NECHE Commission in Massachusetts. Following a review process, the Commission itself will take the final action in September 2026.
Distinctions of The American College of the Mediterranean (ACM-IAU):
- ACM-IAU is incorporated in the state of Arizona and licensed through the Arizona State Board of Private Postsecondary Education.
- ACM-IAU is recognized as an institution of higher learning by the French Ministry of Education, and Rectorat of Aix-Marseille University.
- As a foreign host site for the College Consortium of International Studies (CCIS), ACM’s study abroad institute, IAU, is subject to regular program review.
