The American College of the Mediterranean welcomes undergraduate transfer students to apply to its degree programs in Aix-en-Provence, France. Transfer students bring rich and diverse experiences and backgrounds to the student body in Aix-en-Provence.
Transferring to ACM
ACM enrolls transfer students during the fall and spring semesters.
Students are considered transfer applicants if they have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and have completed at least one semester (12-15 credits) at another college or university. A high school and college transcript must be submitted if applying with less than 30 credit hours.
ACM’s transfer process includes a prompt review of students’ current transcripts to give admitted students clear information on credits transferred and remaining course requirements.
Application Requirements
Admission to the ACM’s undergraduate program is based on a review of the following items:
- Common App transfer application form
- High School transcript or equivalent
- College or university transcript
- Personal essay
- Extracurricular activities/Resume
- Application fee
- Introductory Meeting
- One letter of recommendation
- Proof of English Language proficiency (if applicable)

Credit Transfer
When the student is admitted to ACM, staff and faculty will conduct an evaluation of the student’s prior coursework to determine how many of their previous credits will transfer toward ACM graduation requirements. Note that students must complete a full application before a formal course transfer evaluation can be done.
Transfer students must complete at least 45 units at ACM, including the final 15 in residence at ACM, in order to graduate.
